wow action figures
Collectors appear in all stripes, consumers that genuinely have a very good love for which they may be making collections, those that just love the chase of being able to complete a collection, and people that hope their investment will eventually repay. One doesn’t have to be among the uncounted players of World of Warcraft to collect its wow character figures. The younger collectors though, or the young in mind, may have a hard time resisting the urge taking the warcraft action figures of their box. The slightly older players will , in most cases , discover the warcraft action figures reminiscent of He-Man figures sold in the 80’s.
You can get four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft II. They are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Amazing (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics). From these companies, DC Direct has produced the most important line of figures, twenty five miniatures including deluxe figures, through 2009.
Blizzard, the business behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only produced five miniatures. They’re Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.
Toycom has made six figures all from Warcraft III. SOTA produced only 3 figures that are: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.
DC Direct released its first series of warcraft action figures in 2007. This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, including a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series through the end of 2009.
As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, having a mint toy collection can be a nice investment. Those unfamiliar with WoW, but looking for the next “hot” collectible, could explore these wow action figures because WoW is really a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for some subscribers, over 11 million. With increasingly more followers worldwide it’s likely an industry will exist later on for all those collectors who were able to purchase the warcraft action figures now and collect them. And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures will not be currently being produced in higher quantities and sold in retail outlets.
